MEDICAL MALPRACTICE STUDIES
As an ER scribe, one of my patient charts was subpoenaed during an active litigation. Fortunately, no negligence was identified and a defendant verdict was reached, however this experience served to spark my interest in health law and medical malpractice. Pursuing such research has been an engaging opportunity for me to learn more regarding improving patient outcomes and methods to mitigate malpractice litigation overall as well as familiarizing me to case proceedings and legal terminology.
