Career goals
In addition to working as a physician, I hope to be involved in Medical Education, Mentorship, and Organized Medicine. I also aim to pursue a degree in health law and continue consulting for start-ups in the healthcare sector.
I believe that knowledge and experience are most valuable when allowed to be distributed amongst others. My goal is that others may benefit from my winding path to medicine, so that the lessons I've learned thus far may be of use to those embarking on a similar journey. Along these lines, I have pursued mentorship positions in both my MD and MBA education, as well as on a national scale through the Medical Student Orthopedic Society's Mentorship committee. Using the skills I learned at UCR's A. Gary Anderson School of Management, I served as Class Representative during my first-year of medical school, working to guarantee that the students' voices were heard. Mentorship is one of my greatest passions! |
